When I hit Application Manager, it says “No Apps.”

    • Hi Jim, It could be because you may have no apps installed.
Or, alternatively, switch your device off, remove the battery for 5 minutes, switch it back on and follow the steps again.

Got an app that has a tab that is on the side of the screen. Doesn’t matter what screen. You can add a remove apps to the tab. you can tap the tab and it expands to show shortcuts. How do I get rid of this? I did not intentionally load this. I don’t know the name of the app. I have looked in the App manager.

  19. mellex says:

you can go to settings – and the to “wireless and networks” and uncheck mobile networks – then it won’t let you run data requiring things unless you are on verizon – only on a wireless network which doesn’t take up data

If you are running Android 4.4 (KitKat) on your S3 then follow the following steps to delete apps / games:

      1. Open Apps Menu (by Tapping on Apps Icon in Home Screen)
      2. Tap and Hold (Long Press) the Icon of the App you want to Delete / Uninstall.
      3. Drag and drop the App icon to Top Left (where it says uninstall)
