Apple has sent out invitations today for an event next Tuesday. The event is scheduled for 10 a.m. PT at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco, California. The center has a seating of more than 750 and this is where Apple usually holds its larger press events.
According to AppleInsider, “The fifth-generation full-size iPad is expected to see an overhauled design making it look more like the iPad mini. It’s likely to have thinner side bezels and a slimmer profile, allowing the device to be more portable and lightweight while retaining its 9.7-inch screen. As for the popular iPad mini, Apple is expected to overhaul the screen to be a high-resolution Retina display, matching the pixel count found on the traditional iPad but packing those pixels into a tinier 7.9-inch display.”
At Apple’s last media event in September, it unveiled two new iPhones – the colourful, plastic iPhone 5c and the higher-end iPhone 5s – as well as its iOS 7 mobile operating system. We will bring you the latest from the event. What do you think is going to happen? Share your thoughts below.
